The protection of your personal data is a major concern for me, Maja Babic. In this Privacy Policy, I inform you in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and the Swiss Data Protection Ordinance (DPO) about the collection, processing, and use of your personal data within the scope of my coaching services and my website.

2. General Information on Data Processing

 

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g., name, address, email address, telephone number, or IP address). Sensitive personal data (e.g., information regarding health or personality) is processed exclusively with your explicit consent.

  • Contract execution and performance of online 1:1 coaching sessions

  • Provision and processing of digital downloads

  • Delivery of the newsletter when requesting free content (freebies)

  • Rechnungsstellung und Zahlungsabwicklung

  • Invoicing, tax calculation, and payment processing

  • Fulfillment of statutory retention obligations

 


3. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

 

3.1 Visiting the Website

 

When you access my website, server log files are automatically stored by the hosting provider (including IP address, date/time of access, browser type, operating system, referrer URL). This data is used for system security and technical administration.​
 

3.2 Cookies and Consent Management
 

This website is hosted via Wix.com. Wix uses technically necessary cookies required for the secure operation of the website. In addition, I use Cookie-Script as a consent tool to store your cookie preferences. I do not use marketing or advertising cookies and intentionally refrain from using tracking tools such as Google Analytics. You can change or revoke your consent at any time by clicking the cookie icon on this website.

3.3 Booking & Purchase Data (Online Checkout)

 

When you book a 1:1 coaching session or purchase a digital product on my website, I collect the data required for processing the order in the checkout. This includes your name, billing address, email address, and the chosen payment method. This data is strictly necessary to fulfill the contract (to grant you access to the download or to schedule the appointment).

 

3.4 Free Content (Freebies) & Newsletter

 

If you request a freebie (e.g., a digital PDF journal), I collect your name and email address. This data is used to send you the freebie and to add you to my email newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email.​
 

3.5 Sensitive Data (Health Data)

Information regarding your mental or physical health will only be processed if you provide it to me completely voluntarily within the scope of our 1:1 online coaching session. This data is treated with the highest level of confidentiality


4. Conducting Coaching Sessions via Zoom

 

Online 1:1 coaching sessions are conducted using the software Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (USA). Zoom processes technical and personal data (e.g., IP address, device information). The transfer of data to the USA is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses. A recording of sessions never takes place.

5. Payment Processing via Stripe

 

All payments on this website (both for online 1:1 coaching sessions and digital products) are processed through the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) / Stripe Inc. (USA).​

 

Stripe collects your payment data (e.g., credit card information) as well as IP and location data. Special feature for digital products: When purchasing digital downloads, Stripe uses your location data to automatically calculate and collect the correct country-specific value-added tax (VAT).

 

Data transfer to the USA is safeguarded by appropriate guarantees (Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Hosting via Wix.com
 

This website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd. (Tel Aviv, Israel). Wix processes data on servers in the EU, the USA, and Israel. An official adequacy decision by the Swiss Federal Council exists for Israel, confirming an equivalent level of data protection.

7. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

 

Your data will only be disclosed to third parties if it is necessary for contract fulfillment (meaning to Stripe for payment processing or to Zoom for conducting the coaching session) or if there is a legal obligation to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.​


8. Retention Period

 

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the contract or statutory obligations (e.g., the 10-year retention requirement for accounting records under Swiss law). Coaching notes will be deleted no later than 5 years after the end of our collaboration, unless a request for earlier deletion is submitted.

 


9. Rights of the Data Subject

 

Under the Swiss Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectification, deletion (provided no statutory retention obligation prevents it), restriction of processing, as well as the right to data portability.​

10. Protection of Minors & Data Security

 

My services are directed exclusively at individuals of legal age (18 years or older). I do not knowingly collect or process personal data from minors.

 

11. Data Security

 

To protect your data during transmission, this website uses secure SSL/TLS encryption. Additionally, I implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect stored data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
 


12. Amendments
